Your Impact
As a Medical Robotics Electrical Engineer, you will be part of an agile, multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, development, and optimization of high-performance electronic systems for our medical devices.
You will contribute across the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to regulatory release, and play a key role in advancing next-generation rehabilitation robotics. A significant part of this role focuses on sustaining engineering activities, including managing component obsolescence and ensuring the long-term maintainability of our product portfolio.

· Ensuring the long-term sustainability of complex medical devices by managing component lifecycles, obsolescence, and design changes?

· Taking ownership of hardware topics across the full product lifecycle – from concept, schematic design, and PCB layout to prototyping, verification, and validation?

· Working in cross-functional teams with Development, Project Management, Production, Service, and Procurement?
· Driving design verification, validation, and risk management activities to ensure high product quality and patient safety?
· Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as Design History Files (DHF) and Risk Management Files in compliance with MDR, FDA, and ISO 13485?
· Contributing to innovative system architectures and continuously improving existing products?

You Bring…
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
· Strong experience in hardware development for medical devices or safety-critical systems
· Solid expertise in circuit design, PCB design, and system integration
· Experience with EDA tools (preferably Altium Designer; Eagle is a plus)
· Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSpice or equivalent)
· Experience with product lifecycle management, including handling component obsolescence, design changes, and sustaining engineering activities
· In-depth knowledge of relevant standards (IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2; IEC 62304 is a plus)
· Familiarity with quality and risk management standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
· Experience in technical documentation within regulated environments
· Fluent English; German is an advantage
